Actress Amisha Patel completely rubbishes the rumours of entering into politics but does not rule out the possibility of doing so in distant future.Her granddad was the Congress Committee President of Mumbai. And since Amisha used to be the doted grandchild, it’s conveniently presumed that she would follow her grandpa’s footsteps someday. With the general elections around the corner, rumours have been abuzz that the lovely actress is taking the plunge into politics.
But Amisha has no such plans, at least for a couple of years.
Speaking to a news daily, the actress dismisses the rumour and alleges that she’s too young to enter politics. But she also does not rule out an eventual transformation from abhinetri to neta some day.
“Getting into politics will be a natural process. In future, maybe I will take up politics. But the time’s not ripe,” Amisha is quoted as saying.
She is presently focusing on her career which is on an upswing after her much appreciated bimbo act in last year’s flop movie Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic . Her personal life is also going great with lot of pyaar from boyfriend Kanav Puri.
